Top viewing from the opening scene to the last scene. The casting is perfect and the locations really capture the romantic feel. The story is well written and clips along at a good pace. I also liked the additional segments - the interviews with the two main characters and the couple's heart-warming story. The DVD is well presented with lots of photos and storyline. Ed Asner at his best. known as Edward Asner in the credits. Soldier trying to get over his buddy's death in action gets leave to figure out what comes next.. He finds a niche in the Spellman family but how long does it take him to finally come home.

It gets you right from the beginning. I loved the story about two lone hearts who found their home in each other, with a backdrop of family and service to country themes flowing through the movie.
