The knife is robust , big but sort of easy to handle, it's very well made. The balance on it fits the chart. It comes very sharp on both blades ( serrated and normal ). When I mean sharp , I shaved my neck beard with it pretty easy to test it. Serrated sharp also , because while trying to grab the back of the blade , I glided my finger on to the serrated part , very gently , and went trough the skin about 0.3 cm. ( Just stopped the bleeding while writing this review ). The Sheath is pretty nice , although I would have preferred the plastic one. Problem is that Ka-bar does not make it for this knife so don't bother looking. You can baton wood with it ( oak ) , I didn't even loose it's edge. Branches go down easy ( on tick ones I prefer to use the serrated blade , I am not doing this with this knife) . The size and weight of this knife makes it perfect for more tasks , I would call it more of a survival knife. Seller was good , received the item fast and intact even tough I am from Europe. Had a little issue at the customs in EU u can't import blades over 4 inch apparently and I told them to f**k off , and that was the end of it. Buy it , you won't regret it. Read full review

KaBar has produced good quality knives for many decades. The blade was razor sharp. KaBar said they designed it to bend under heavy pressure instead of breaking. With proper care, it should last a lifetime.
