Everything I expected
This Logitech system is another of their great value products. I already have three Logitech THX 200 watt stereo speaker systems, but wanted something of similar quality only surround sound, more compact, and not as powerful. In the typical Logitech tradition, this system meets all my requirements. Selling point: Not only do I recommend it as good quality, price and value, even though it is a 5.1 system I custom configure it to behave as a surround sound system driven only by any two-channel stereo system. For the DIY info: The 'rear' speakers are series connected with positive terminals together, and each negative terminal connects to its respective front channel's 'positive' terminal. To achieve this I simply make an RCA socket patch-box and wire it this way in the box, then plug the speakers into the box. End result is each rear speaker's phase is 180 degrees (opposite polarity) to the digonally opposite front speaker and - BINGO! - surround sound on the cheap....

Solid speakers for the casual listener, great price = great buy
I decided to purchase these speakers as I needed an alternative to what my TV and PC stocked, and after owning them for over a month I couldn't be more pleased. To my non-audiophile ears, these speakers pack both crystal clearness and thick punchy bass. The setup instructions are clear and to-the-point allowing a very quick assembly. The only negative thing i have to say about them are the wires which must all connect to the subwoofa, these either tend to be much to long when setup around my desk, leaving many messy cables lying on the ground, or too short if using them as a proper home-surround system as they are advertised. I do not/have not owned another surround sound system of similar price range to compare these too, so sadly I cannot give a proper comparison, but I am sure these would hold their own against many other systems at the $80 which I bought these for. In conclusion, I would recommend these for the casual listener wishing for better quality sound without digging too deep into the wallet.
Excellent speakers for the price. Grab some if you can.
I bought these speakers because I wanted some decent sounds to go with a new 5.1 sound card. I had just started to play Guild Wars 2 and there are some cool sound effects in the game. The speakers have turned out to be excellent for that purpose. The speakers have crisp bass and decent overall volume. I have them set up around me to take full advantage of the surrounding sound. Music, movies and general use are also great. I am very happy to have purchased these speakers. I have always liked Logitech products and this is no different.
Totally happy, easy to fit into small spaces, and good sound production
I like this set of speakers. I use it to plug into my computer and it improves the sound immensely. I needed it because I rehearse music using midi files and frankly, the laptop's sound card and speakers are not up to it - it was discouraging to try and listen to my own music. The connecting leads of the speakers are long enough to reach to the other side of the room so I now have true 5.1 sound - even with mono sound, it still comes out of all the speakers and the woofer. I like the woofer too, it gives just enough bass to be realistic - I haven't try to churn it up loud, someone else can do that and enjoy it. Overall I am happy, it doesn't take much space and delivery was quick and it was well packed, too!
If you buy these speakers, ensure you can take them back if your not happy.
I bought these speakers thinking they would be a really good product to get. I have had Logitech speakers in the past, so I thought they would be excellent. Well those ideas were short lived. The only switch on them is on the Bass speaker to strictly adjust that one speaker. I went into my computer speaker adjustment and had to put a lot of time in there trying to get decent sound out of them. I found playing music stored on the hard drive was different to playing music off of U-tube. This is something I never had occur in the past with my other Logitech speakers. I really think they need to incorporate a control switch on a speaker to alter tonal quality. Because of my experience, I would urge people to buy from a place where you can take them back if your not happy with them.
