I've used Moog for over 35 years and have considered them to be the best, but something has happened to them. I have pressed thousands of bushings and recently have had issues with some Moog K791 lower control are bushings for Chrysler products. The normal procedure for a Chrysler lower bushing is to press the bushing onto the pivot pin, then press the bushing into the control arm. Recently I pressed some pins and bushings and I had two problems, the first was the bushings did not want to press into the control arms, the outer shell was too large of diameter. The second, and most critical, you could pull the pivot pins out of the bushings by hand, as the inner shell appeared to be too large of a diameter. I compared and contrasted the nee bushings verses an n.o.s. set of Moog bushings, two different bushings. The new style is easily identified as they come inside a sealed bag inside of the box, the old style are simply a bushing in a box. The rubber compound they use now is different than its predecessor. The other thing I noticed about Moog, the upper bushings K408 are no longer serviced with washers, apparently you must reuse the originals.Read full review
