Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Synthesisers
I am not much of a fan of drum machines... They sounds so... um... computer game like... This is not your typical drum machine. It is a synthesizer and has so much depth to the sound. I cannot describe how fun it is to use. I highly recommend it. *I modified mine by adding control knobs to the 19 little stubs it comes with. Makes it really easier to use.

Certainly not for those looking for a normal drum machine, the DFAM provides incredible flexiblity and expansion for an existing modular set up. All analog signaling path means you can use the sequencers as complex oscilators, for really incredible drone material too! However, the lack of MIDI and small patch bay makes it hard sell for those just starting out, but this system plays well with others!

The Moog DFAM is more of a synthesizer that makes percussive sounds. Total hands on to change parameters at anytime. It’s even better when syncing to the Mother 32 to make a awesome modular system. I use both with the Grandmother. Totally worth every penny. My only complaint is the small step knobs(mini buttons?). If I can find replacement knobs would do it because of my fat fingers. I definitely rate the DFAM 10/10

Such a fun, awesome percussion synthesizer. It's not a drum machine; it is far more flexible and interesting than that. That there are no baked in sounds only makes it so much more fun to play and craft your own sounds with that Moog heat. It inspires me to play it for hours and is like working with a living creature. I love it!
