Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Other Test & Measurement
The build quality isn't exactly stellar: the voltage-sense connector had a damaged pin, the LCD board is missing two stand-offs, the temperature sensor measures temperature of the heat sink instead of the transistor it should be protecting etc.. The voltage-sense input could use a screw terminal, too. It could also come with better instructions; e.g. how to switch it into capacity tester mode? You have to hold a button while plugging the power jack in -- not exactly intuitive. But other than that, I find it pretty good at what I need it to do: testing accumulator capacity. You can set the discharge current and cutoff voltage and the programmable load will do the rest. The only limitation would be the lower current limit, 200 mA, meaning you could have trouble discharging some tiny accumulators at 1 C.Read full review
