Author Biography
Steven A Segal spent his professional career as CEO of a family-owned, industrial cutting tool business in partnership with his brother. Now retired, Segal says he doesn't miss the stress of the long hours or the pressures of economic volatility. What I do miss, he says, is the daily interaction with the hard working dedicated people who helped John and I build our company into the dominant supplier in our industry. Segal has always found the dramatic events leading up to, and unfolding during, World War II fascinating. Celine's Landing is his exploration of the evil tactics of power-crazed governments and those who successfully dedicate their lives fighting tyranny to maintain freedom and liberty for mankind. Mr. Segal has also authored Ida's Story a historical fiction novel based on a true life adventure of a courageous woman who lived between 1879 and 1948. Segal and his wife, Lavonne, live in Phoenix. He is a member of the Arizona Author's Association, and the National Speakers Association, and serves on the Forest Highlands Foundation board of directors in Flagstaff, Arizona. He enjoys cabinet making, building museum-quality model cars, photography, cooking, writing, and spending time with his eleven grandchildren.
