Android software has bug issues. Unit flooded its memory right away. I had to google a answer. Two good things about this phone, 1: I only paid $20.00 for it, and 2: it allowed me to get a much lower priced unlimited phone and text package from 800 pound gorilla AT&T.. It nags you to turn on Data, I will when everyone wakes up to fact even voice is data, along with texting is data and ALL data charges from any carrier are modern day fraud. Ever since phones went digital ITS all been DATA ......Voice and text are data, and voice places data demands as high as ten web pages being downloaded,,, and Yet these carriers all charge DATA fees,, And your all being robbed daily..................Its ALL data, weather its voice or text which are unlimited flat rates and have been for a while now, being charged for data should be against the law... ALL these Google software phones are Data hogs demanding data connections for 85% of the phone software to operate, so beware your buying a phone that will be 85% worthless unless your willing to submit to unscrupulous data fees and charges by carriers trying to rob you blind with data fees and data rates etc.....I use mine as a simple phone only, Camera sucks, so I got my $20.00 worth in month one on a much lower priced plan for Gorilla AT&TRead full review

The phone itself is quite good; decent battery life, small yet easy to use, and if you put it on a good case, neigh indestructible. However, it cannot be unlocked. I bought this phone because of its good specs and low price, only to find that all GoPhones CANNOT BE UNLOCKED UNLESS YOU'VE USED THE SERVICE THEY CAME WITH FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS (according to the AT&T site). Sadly, I did not knew this, so I had to change to AT&T in order to use it. It would be real good if the was some warning on the product page about this, as it's only mentioned in a tiny, hard to find line on the unlocking guidelines. Beyond that, it's a good product.

This phone has terrible everything hence the price. I think if it had a decent camera on it I could put up with this 20 dollar phone forever. In terms of comparison this phone is a "Dollar Tree Model". I break phones alot so I dont spend alot, for me this phone is ideal. To run my business I need email, gps, and a camera this phone provides all of these features on a crappy level. I wish that the Maven would get a little cheaper again.

This phone is great if you are familiar with Android smartphones. If you're familiar with the most basic of operations (calling, texting, emailing) it works and the price from Best Buy (19.99) was killer! It will do other things as well, I just don't use it as a personal computer or laptop. You can't beat it for a good smartphone in sea of 700.00+ do everything "flagship" phones out there. Well worth 20 bucks!
