Good Sturdy Pedal
I bought the Korg Pedal to replace the one that came with my Korg Kross keyboard. After researching a lot of reviews I decided on this one because it has the half sustain for Korg keyboards. I am a part time professional musician and use the keyboard mostly for recording piano, strings and brass tracks. The pedal is sturdy and works and feels just fine to me. The half sustain should be called one fourth sustain because the sustain is very short and not a whole lot more than no sustain. But it is still usable for cleaning up the sound in some instances without having to cut off the sustain completely. For me that function is best used holding it in that position and playing it like a manually set short sustain on a synthesizer that doesn't have a sustain pedal. I only gave it four ... Korg half pedaling
The pedal is a must have due to half-pedalling not being possible with the lilliputian pedal that originally comes with the piano. This one is giving you the possibility to apply different gradient of sustain and not only on / off sustain as with the one supplied in the kit. Not really expensive as this is an original Korg trustworthy quality item. Buy it directly from a Japanese retailer like me and you will potentially get it at your door step within a very few days.The pedal is a must have due to half-pedalling not being possible with the lilliputian pedal that originally comes with the piano. Awesome Pedal!
This pedal was immediately a perfect fit for my old Korg X-3, that I use at home to learn songs.The X-3 is a fairly old workstation, and I was concerned that this new pedal might not work. But--work it did--and like a charm!

Works as advertised on Korg products
I use a Korg PA4X arranger keyboard so I expected this pedal to work as advertised as it is a korg product. The half pedal function is useful and improves control when compared with a damper/sustain only pedal

It is a good product and if you live near Japan and do not have pay the tax great. Do not make my mistake and think it is a cheap product and forget to add the tax for it coming into the country.
