I would buy it again without question.
I bought this scope for use in long range target shooting and or hunting. It came with target turrets and a sun shade. It has the BDC feature as well. The scopes clarity is extremely good and edge to edge sharpness is great as well. I chose this apetureover 50mm scopes because light tranmission is comparable without the extra weight. The controls, paralax/focus a little stiff which is what you would expect and probably need. Eye relief is superior and will accomodate most shooters and rifles. Both close and far focus are great but I have not been able to crank it up to 20X yet. While this is not an inexpensive scope, it is worth the $500 or so cost most certainly.I bought this scope for use in long range target shooting and or hunting. Spot On website makes this Nikon BDC Scope your best choice for long shots!
Listening to my elders, learned a few things about scopes, did some surfing and had to try this scope, it comes with a spot on website that takes your info on gun, ammo, distance to target and gives you precise distance chart for each reticle out to 500 yards, that alone was the winning point for me, I am sighted in at 100 and know what all the reticle distances. Price a little high but well worth the purchase price. The parallax adjust is marked to see your object from 50-1000 yards. Nikon Monarch 5-20X44SF Rifle Scope
Great super clear optics. Side focus is very convenient. Once sighted in, turrets are marked for distance shooting, calculate your bullet drop and you can quickly adjust your range. It was awesome at the shooting range. Shot consistent 1/4 inch groups at 300 yards!
