Great product

The scanner/service tool is packed well in the hard case, with everything you need to start using it right away. Instructions are clear and easy to read. The software is super easy to update, and registering the product via the software from your PC is also super easy. Very glad I decided to spend that little extra to get a great tool.

Nt650 compatibility on BMW x3 e83 2008

On a BMW x3 e83, Steering angle sensor (SAS) errors kind of went away after using the SAS function. It said error but lights still went away. Supposedly failed recalibration. Cones back temporarily if battery is disconnected. Correctly diagnosed coolant temperature sensor which happened suddenly, easy fix 2 min with a socket at the front of the motor. My bigger long term problem remains why my 2L diesel n47d20a has the DDE light illuminated and 2 independent mechanics could not yet correctly diagnose it also. They both said it needs regen but the underlying problem preventing regen is still unknown. Attempting it via this diagnostic tool also gives an error about other codes needing to be sorted first but cannot seem to locate them anywhere. Last known regen also stated now 1800kms ago unfortunately. Still drives ok but for who knows how long. Also note: this version I got was upto date I believe and works straight out of the box when plugged into a car.

Everybody should have one.

Good quality unit that did the job perfectly, great value for money as it saved me heaps (no mechanics bill). In around one minute the unit had scanned my car's computer, diagnosed the problem and showed me the appropriate code then I could reset "Check Engine" light with the press of a button. BRILLIANT !!!.
