While it's previous model had great crisp sound and bass boost this model is rather a lack lustre product where even the highest level of sound still gives background noises a chance to mix in. Sad that they didn't make a great product better. I would take better sound over a light show any day.

For the money, these cannot be beat. This is a $150 headset for 1/2 price. No need to plug into the controller, this headset connect directly to the console wirelessly with the USB dongle. The dongle is nice because you can also use it with a PC/MAC/PS4, etc. I also own a Plantronics, but I paid double and they are almost identical in performance, etc. Battery life lasts longer than any gaming session I have had so far, but I am still trying to outlast these headset batteries... If you lost the USB dongle, you can buy onew direct from PDP for $12. You can also buy replacement mic's off eBay too for cheap.

I really like this headset. It was a great price! The sound is very clear and my friend says that he can hear the mic very well when we chat. I had a set of turtle beach, but I like these a lot better. They have great battery life! Another bonus is that they are completely wireless!

They are so cool, and worked great at first, but only a couple weeks in & the mic has to be bent to get it to work, and now they don't seem to be charging right. I'm really bummed. I can't seem to find headphones that will last more than a month!!
