Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Vintage Radios
These vintage Panasonic RF-2200 receivers are really amazing in performance. For AM DX, you'll love the finely graduated linear dial scale and will find a station at nearly every 10 kHz stop. Easy to locate and identify station frequencies. FM receiver is top drawer with great full sound and wide tone range. Shortwave bands are solid with a very accurate tuning setup which allows you to pinpoint what frequency you are receiving. Don't expect to find a large amount of programming on SW these days. You will hear Ham activity, the BFO provides some help in resolving sideband signals. In addition to the great technical performance it's a real beauty to look at with excellent styling and appearance. Note: be advised that these sets are 40+ years old and will likely need an alignment to provide sensitive and accurate operation as it was designed.Read full review

It's a winner all around: dual conversion for great reception, even on the rod antenna alone, accurate tuning w/xtal marker every 125 kHz for dial recalibration! easy dial calibration, bass & treble & large speaker, direction finding antenna for am, BFO for ham SSB reception,.... What else is there? The RF2200 has it all. I bought one of these new in 1978 and sold it for some $$$. Have never had anything as good so I've bought 3 since then and kept 2. Does that tell you something?? Rob, radio nut.

A really fine AM DX machine but quite dated and mediocre on shortwave. Good on FM but................ I guess it boils down to the question : “How much do I want to pay for a great but 40 YO AM band radio?” In general the RF-2200 radio is quite overrated. If you hate digital radios, buy an analog RF-2200 , but be prepared for not-good shortwave performance.

One of the best portable multibands ever made, period. Not THE best, but certainly one of them... and for MW listening and DXing, it probably is the best. Certainly for an analog portable, it is easily the best performer of the bunch on MW.

problem with frequency selector, bent frequency knob, battery compartment has acid contamination, load noise when turned on some times it goes away sometimes not. I offered 10.00 just to keep from having to send back, thats all its worth, rejected.
