I would rate this radio as okay but should be better for the price. The sound quality is okay but lacks dynamic range, more mid range. My wife has the DPR-67 and while mono sounds about the same if not better for its size. The reception is okay but struggles at my work inside a concrete building on the opposite side to the transmitter. An external antenna connection would have been nice here. It is easy to use and the bluetooth works fine. 6x C cell batteries, alkaline or NiMh, is not cheap to run. I would recommend the NiMh option if away from mains. In hindsight I feel like I should have spent the extra cash and bought the DPR-202BT.
