The K-10X ball head from Sirui is an extremely rugged head with control knobs for pan, tilt and tension, as well as an Arca-type clamp for the included quick release plate. The pan, tilt, and quick release knobs are all separate, while the tension knob is integrated into the ball lock (tilt) knob. The head tilts 90° for vertical orientation. The K-10X internal head lock has a ball tolerance of 0.01mm and features a lock dial to memorize orientation. This allows for a high load capacity of 20kg. The quick release clamp features a secondary release button that prevents inadvertent disengagement of the camera/plate from the clamp, thus increasing safety and stability of the head. The Arca-style platform conforms to standard dimensions and compatible plates from other manufacturers can be used.
