Extensive menu options take a while to master as some menus take some finding. It functions well with good picture quality. The dubbing functions are easy to use. There are all the connections I needed and others I did not need but nice to have them there. It is difficult to decide how good the up scaling is but from what I could see it did seem to improve the playback. I would advise downloading the operating manual Overall it did what I wanted and did it well..

Bought this as I already had a slightly different model, found it v reliable, well built and easy to use so wanted another. This one was reconditioned model with a CI slot and 250g hard drive ,the only slight issue is my pay for view ESPN card isnt recognised.I dont think its the recorder and likely an issue with the card/top up tv seems it wont play in some devices.
It compliments my present one so it is easy to use.

Came with NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL a REMOTE NOT FOT THIS MACHINE. NOT ABLE TO USE purely because we haven’t got a clue how to. Wish we chose a different machine. A total waist of over two hundred quid.
