With dreams of finding a better life, Thomas and William Norton (played by real life brothers Darren and Matthew Holmes) are embarking on a 500 mile journey on foot across southeastern Australia. But when their journey takes an unexpected and unfortunate turn at the hands of petty thief, the two brothers find themselves embraced by a riverside community.
