Wonderful Book
Wonderful stories, easy for little ones to follow and keep them interested. Very nice illustrations also. My 5 year old dove right in to this book as soon as I took it out of its packaging.

The books were damaged
Both my books were damaged one has a big gash in it you packed them in a thin piece of plastic envelope that did not hold up to the mail company a padded envelope probably would’ve been better or a box my other book that came from another company absolutely the packing was beautifully done. The books were a gift that can’t be given now.

The Childrens Book of Virtues
Anything written by Bennett, former US Secretary of Education, is more than excellent. These common sense virtues, cornerstones of what made America strong and great, are eroding as a literature review shows that they have been systematically removed from public school curriculum. Want your child to have respect for himself and others? Want a solid broad education? Get each one of Bennets books, from children through eighth grade. Then bond with your children while reading them and discussing them together. It makes for good, strong, educated, sound character. We have raised 6 boys. Everywhere to this day people say, (now they are in their twenties) "how did you do that?", "your boys are amazing". Part of what we did was teach values by using all of Bennett's materials as a cornerstone to our home. Julius and Eva Klostreich, PhD
Works of Art
The Children's Book of Virtues is classic in all. A teaching tool with beautiful, grand art -- not just illustrations - grand art. This book is a keepsake. I gave a copy to my daughter who teaches 5th graders at her local church.

title lead to a good discussion of positive virtues
Granddaughter would have liked to have had some explanations to some of the stories (for when reading alone) but overall, the Grandchildren have enjoyed it very much. It is good to have reading with positive morals that they can read with adults or alone.
