Japanese or Korean bearings and seals
Just so people know the bolt hole that holds the rear pipe in doesn't come threaded on any brand of these pumps , you simply use the factory ford tri loab self tapping bolt from your old pump to tap the thread either with an impact rattle gun or by a ratchet and 13mm socket and a bit of downward pressure (a bit of grease or oil helps) the bolt is tapered high tensile steel and the pump is aluminium so it taps quite easy . Now the GMB water pump is quite good as they use Japanese or Korean bearings and seals ,yes they are made in China but its the bearings and seals that make the difference to how long these pumps last and its pretty hard to find one of these pumps not made in China these days .
