Unbelievable unit
Have had a 600 series roomba for about 4 years so I had no hesitation in buying another robot vac to replace it when I decided to move it permanently to my garage clean. Was a bit cautious about buying a refurbished unit but after reading the many reviews I thought I'd take the plunge and give the newer model a go. WOW,,. I can't believe the difference the newer technology has made to the overall performance. Twin speed suction auto adjusts from tiles to carpet and it sucks hard! Also much smarter the way it goes about doing it's job,less bumping into walls and furniture and maps the house and gets better after each use. My old 600 series always did well and was regularly cleaned and fitted with new filters and brushes but the difference is night and day in overall performance. The added bonus was the refurbished unit that was sent. It was BRAND NEW! Absoulety spotless,not a mark on it,virtual walls still in factory shrink wrap,in original box. I don't know if this is the norm but I know what these units look like when they have been used and the one I received was never used. Based on my experience I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another. Great product
i bought this for my parents for Christmas. There were excited to try straight away. It did a great job of navigating its way around the house, delicately against the furniture and obstacles and not nearly as loud as some of the reviews would have you believe. Obviously as a robot vacuum it does not do the deep clean that a person may perform with a standard vacuum, into the deep corners etc but for a daily or weekly clean it is definitely convenient and easy way to ensure the house is kept clean

Good vacuum cleaner
It vacuum good, it's a little bit loud, WiFi connection is not easy to setup, I'm happy with this product. I can only hope I get 8 years service to justify the price. It does a better job than my LG robovac.

Cleans with no effort
Like everyone I was sceptical about these cleaners and couldn't justify the price tag. Been hesitating for years and glad I did. This latest 980 model is unbelievable! The suction is fantastic and the new rubber heads stop anything from getting tangled in it including hair. I would definitely recommend this model to everyone as we haven't used the other vacuum cleaner since purchasing this one. It is still a bit noisy but I'm sure not as loud as the previous models so can't really compare. The suction increases when it gets onto carpets or rugs and the bin fills up even though the floor looks clean. It would be great if the bin was larger in capacity but I have found with regular use the bin takes longer to fill. The email notifications we receive is amazing as well as it tells us what Roomba is doing while we are away from home. Definitely worth the price tag!Read full review

Magical roomba cleaning.
The i roomba 980 does a fantastic job. It can be scheduled to clean while you are at work so you can come home and empty it and house is done. The only thing you need to do is once a week vacuum behind doors and under furniture it doesn't fit under. It takes me about 5 mins to do this and l get hardly anything in the vac. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 people. It really does a great job. I set it for every 2nd day. The maintainance takes about 3 mins a week and is really easy. Would strongly recommend this product, which l must say was given a great wrap from someone l knew. I like it so much l bought another one for my sister.
