I like this thing a real, real lot! I use it as a count down timer and it is super quick and easy to use. I have it set to count down from 22 minutes.. After setting it to 22 minutes. it remembers and all I do is push start to go from time to 22, push start again to start the count down. When it finishes the count down it beeps for a minute, then goes back to the time of day.

This unit is the best timer I have used for cooking. Even if I leave the room, to a different part of the house I can hear it. It will ring for a minute unless cancelled. Can use it without having to put on my glasses first. Very handy for the sprinklers as well. Reverts to Clock automatically after ringing. I have thrown out the old mechanical timers that used to stop or not ring long enough.
