Amazing pics and vids in low lighting. Battery lasts much longer than expected. Was worried about the size, but it holds up well. Lightning fast. 6gb rams makes a big difference from 4. Even with nearly all my apps open it doesnt show signs of slowing down. OLED screen makes everything look better. But watch out, ppl will see all your flaws on selfie photos this good. Very easy to navigate and customize. Ive already dropped it a few times before my case came in and it has not one scratch. Previously had LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8. Reaches far beyong those 2. Wife has Umidigi F1 Play(which is nice) and I would easily recommend the G8 over it and others.

I should have paid attention to all the reviews. The phone has a lot of nice features and very good battery life. The problem is it has different versions, such as the US market has 2 cameras on the back, global versions have the 3 cameras. Good cases became increasingly difficult to find. The biggest problem I have, is honestly just the overall performance and style of the phone. It hangs when you rotate it to change the screen orientation. Sometimes it doesn't rotate at all, even when you go back and forth and slowly or quickly and sharply rotate out. Stay away from this phone, skip it. I will most likely be going back to Samsung or a similar quality brand.

My prior LG G7 survived a fall in some rapids, bathtub dunk, drop from 2 stories - accidentally tripped in stairwell and came out of pocket (OtterBox on), and never overheated (despite charging and Great Dane sleeping on it)! The LG G8 is a great improvement over the LG g7. Great features such as facial recognition to unlock phone, the speaker is the screen and has amazing sound, REALLY long life battery I literally just charge once every day or two - activate the extended battery function use all day, its really fast, it has a great low light camera, new feature - you can search internet while on phone by activating the VoLTE function under network function (this is a sprint phone). I am still learning all the new functions so I am sure there is more that I did not mention. Its got a small profile so it will fit in your pocket. Definitely worth the money! Read full review

This phone has some great specs and is very fast. Despite having "only" 6 GB of RAM it never lags on me, and the battery life is enough to last one full day for me. I would easily recommend this phone to anyone who wants an Android phone for a good price.

I am very glad i purchased this G8 thinQ. It has very good camera and a whole lotta memory. Its what i expect from an LG phone. I just wish they would have left the button feature on back of phone.

Cell phone looked brand new except it didn't come in an LG box and came with a generic power cord. Pho e works well with no trouble getting it set up.

An awesome phone, the condition was just perfect. Pros: - Beautiful Screen with an awesome resolution. - Great Camera, and it has Manual Mode! - Awesome sound with Speakers and even more awesome sound with Headphones, great device for audiophiles. - Incredible performance, you'll never need more power, it runs every APP in maximum settings without any trouble. Cons; - A lot of bloatware from LG, Spring and Google, you need to do a heavy deabloat the first time you use it. - The back cover scratches even in your empty pockets, and it's very squishy, feels like the phone wants to die, don't use it until you have a protector. - The screen is small, that's bad for games, but perfect for one hand navigation. Recommended 10/10, it has unique features amongst any other brand that doubles is value.Read full review

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing this review to ensure that I got some time with the phone before writing a review. Therefore - Overall would definitely recommend. Really great phone. It's fast, hold battery really, really well and has't let me down yet. Haven't found any cons about the phone yet! Photo/ video quality is also great. My ONLY gripe is the phone was listed as a 9/10, with extremely minor blemishes/ flaws. Perhaps I'm picky but I'd say its more a 8/10. Screen has some small scratches on it when the phone is turned off under direct light. They do not effect function or are noticeable when using the phone but it's still there, and noticeable. This would not take away from my overall stance that I WOULD recommend this phone overall.

The LG G8 is more efficient and has a better display and processing units with more RAM and ROM. 6/128GB compaired to the G7 thinQ of 4/64GB and the phone is an AT&T unlocked which is the network we are on unlike our last phone with T-mobile which was OK but the cell towers are better now. we are both very happy to have such an improvement without the expense of a new phone, even though they look and work as if they are new (they might be) I paid for a B or 8/10 used but they are perfect with no flaws; I have been buying from yywireless for some time now and have always been pleased with our purchases Thanks Yours Truly a repeat customer Alex
