The BEST detox ever!
Each year, my husband and I undertake a 14 day detox using Madal Bal and I find that my body responds to the cleanse instantly. I choose a time in my calendar when I do not have too many commitments, and I begin the cleanse but am careful to take it easy for the first two to three days, so that I can maintain my energy levels. By day 4, I am feeling incredibly healthy, focused and have a lot more energy than day 1. The cleanse starts to spread, with a good clean out of the fridge, and the food cupboards and even the wardrobe gets a "once over". I write a wish list of all of the foods that I am going to replenish my body with following the 14 days. I have a list of distractions to do in the event that I start craving food. On average, I lose approximately 8-10 kgs, and if I come off the detox, and carefully reintroduce my meals, initially with juices and smoothies and salads, and then slowly build up to healthy meals, I usually maintain the weight loss for 6 months or so. Yes, the coffee and the alcohol and the fatty foods creep back into the diet after a few months, by I've always got a tin on hand, if I ever feel the need to realign. My skin looks amazing, my eyes are always much whiter and people always comment on how good I look following detox. I'm never afraid to say that I'm undertaking a detox as I find most people are keen to learn about my results, and I've inspired many people to undertake it too! Give it a go… it's not a case of what have you got to lose, but how much have you got to lose?
