Nikon D600 a great camera that requires expertise and learning
The Nikon D600 is a great camera. The challenge is all with the user, it is complex and requires dedication to learning. I found out quickly how little I new about photography and have had to read all the manuals and watch videos to learn how to use a full frame camera. Full Frame is quite a step up from the Canon 550D. I had to make decisions on buying lenses and that was an extra expense that I had not planned for. However the pictures are spectacular I'm learning how to use most of the settings but it will be a long journey and I think this camera will be with me for many years to come. I would suggest that if you plan to buy this camera and you are new to full frame plan to dedicate 200 hours to practice as a first step. its a great camera if you have the time and application to learning.Read full review
Great camera lots of features, too many to list. Great value since the d610 is out. Read a lot of reviews and this camera is a great entry level full frame camera.
An absolute gem, nothing short of value for pennies :)
First day practical experience.
From a D90 to D7000 to now a D600 I'm wondering why I'd not made the transition earlier.
The D600 is an incredible camera for its value. Although it sits a little under the D800 specs wise, it's gotta be Nikons most popular camera in 2013.
No matter what you read about this camera, it's not until you turn it on that you realize it's got huge potential.
Image quality.. Phenomenal.
Handling.. Excellent.
Build quality.. Pretty good, better with battery grip.
I'm a long exposure photographer and push all my cameras to the extreme and this camera looks like it will blow me away over the coming weeks, months and hopefully years.
All in all, if you are considering it then buy it.
