A nice easy phone to get along with, easy to unlock the bootloader root and currently using minimal os marshmallow. Only two cons really, no 4g unless you live in Canada! And the phones volume is not too great. If you can get past it though this is a great phone.

The phone is perfect, nothing less than what i expected and also included a lot of nice surprises. Recommended to anyone looking for a good cheap android phone
É um Nexus e há pouco mais a dizer! Bonito, simples super rápido potente e disponível para passar com distinção a qualquer teste a que seja submetido. 5*
This phone is unbeatable value for money. Really high quality finish, very fast, good battery life, and the latest version of Android. Plus its unlocked and free of all the extra rubbish the handset makers and carriers usually install - I'm not a fan of HTC Sense or Samsung's software. Its very light for its size and build quality, screen is really good with natural colours. New version of Chrome is one of the first truly usable phone browsers and Google Now is finally useful for users outside the US. I would only fault it on a slightly poor camera compared to its competition and the fact that the glass back is really slippery - but it down on a sloped surface and it will be on the floor before you know. Well worth getting a bumper for it for this reason. When these are back in stock and you can get them at the list price it is unbeatable value for money - you are getting a phone which can hold its own against an iPhone 5 or S3 for half the price.Read full review
The first impression the Nexus 4 had on me was that it really feels like a premium device! It sits well in my hand with a weight that points out you are holding something substantially precious. Far superior than any samsung phone and the iphone 4s and 5 I have held, even though they carry double its price tag (or more!). THE GOOD: Its design in real life looks far better than it looks on any videos. It has so far impressed all of the people to whom I have shown it. I liked the vibrancy of the screen and its responsiveness. It makes it a joy to use. Screen size is not the biggest or the smallest one out there right now. It does make browsing the web more pleasant if you're coming from a smaller screen, and the colours look vibrant. It should be getting the latest updates first, guaranteed to keep you occupied trying the newest features the moment they become available. A fast processor with 2GB of RAM, guarantees its speed. Its amazing you can get these specs for under £250! I have found the camera fast to respond and easy to use. The parorama software works very well, but the 360 sphere takes some practice to get it right. For general use is just fine. It is not brilliant in high contrast situations, but then again it also depends how specific your requirements are in taking photos. Calls come through loud and clear, no problem there. There is a friendly community of developers for this device out there, which means this phone will keep seeing its fair options for customisation well into the future. THE NOT-SO-GOOD: Battery life can be an issue, especially if you get too happy with it and use it constantly the first few days(lasted 7-8 hours). There are ways around it (reduce the screen brightness, disable GPS,use the free Auto3G app, etc), which can see the phone through the day (I got it up to 1 day 12 hours with battery saving settings and minimal-moderate usage). Keep in mind, the battery is Non-Removable! Storage for some people, although I am happy with it, but this is not the device for you if you want to keep many movies on it. The storage is Non-Removable, what you buy is what you get (8GB, which leaves you with about 5,5GB after the OS is installed). The placement of the lock screen button, which lies on the side opposite the volume buttons, is unfortunate for me as at times I press the volume buttons whilst I am pressing to unlock the screen. Old hands-free sets may not work, it takes CTIA compatible headsets (iphone compatible headsets). I hear it scratches easily, especially the back, so you may need a case. I am not taking any chances and am already using one. SUMMARY: Generally speaking, unless you are specific about the quality of your photos, need a lot of storage on your device or are really dependant on a long lasting battery on your phone, I don't see why you shouldn't get this phone. The value for money/quality ratio is unbeatable as the market stands right now. And its specs should see it coping well with whatever software upgrades the next year is going to throw at it, or for at least a couple of years. Also, for customisation, just use a Launcher app to get rid of/add anything you want; it is free and you don't need to root, but you still get to have it look the way you want, especially if you want to get rid of the persistent search bar on the home screen. I am already recommending this phone to friends who are looking for a phone right now. :)Read full review
My first true smartphone and I am not disappointed. I was not sure if I should go for an Apple iPhone, but the specifications for this camera beat the hell of best iPhone at half the price, so I went for it. I am very happy with the Android application environment. I already use Google for nearly all my needs, so this phone fits nicely. It is very stable. The screen is beautiful and the battery life is OK for a smartphone. Just keep an eye on the battery consumption report to see if there are any energy hogging applications out there. I bought 3M Vikuiti screen protector and a beautiful matte brown Nillkin skin for it and everything is fine.
