Hooked this up, using a weaker pump as to make sure pressure was low as to not burst and yet one of them still burst within days of buying. Maybe 3 days of using total. I am disappointed. Went outside today to find pool nearly half emptied which is costly waste of water. I suppose you get what you pay for.

These are great. Takes a few days of running, but it does warm it up so that it's not like getting in an ice bath. I use a separate pump, running off a solar panel & battery. I have the 2 mats mounted on a pergola above the pool, rather than on the ground. Less shading, and not in the way of traffic around the pool. Doesn't have to be totally sunny, just as long as the air warm(ish). I could/should probably get another 2 mats so it heats quicker after a lot of cool days.

purchased for a small (approx 3000L) pool, the concept is good, however the water pathways through the mat are very restrictive, especially around the area where the hoses connect to the mat. Water flow is significantly reduced, resulting in poor heating performance and making the system unsuitable for filtration while the mat is connected. In order to gain sufficient filtration, the mat needs to be disconnected and the normal hoses re-connected, which can be quite difficult depending on your setup.

These are packaged with instruction booklet and all fittings. An inexpensive solution for heating a spa that is away from the house already running on solar powered pumps. The plan is to run four in series to keep the water warm in winter.

1 busted a hole after just a week of use (I lost a lot of water out of my pool), the other has been leaking water since day 1.
