These devices enable one to quickly and safely hook up mains powered equipment without a dedicated plug. Very useful if testing an item or repairing. The test product is disconnected ( ISOLATED ) from the mains once the connection box is opened. Care should still be taken as there is still a connection to live power inside the unit, though if it would need to be sought out. I have used these over many years and only purchased a new one as I misplaced my previous one and needed to test a pre-installation set up. The only thing to mention, this one does NOT come with a feed cable attached, so a mains plug and cable will be required in addition.

This item does the job but I wonder how long it will last due to its poor quality and oh those really inaccessible wiring terminals. If this had been £5.00 direct from China I would not have minded so much but at 5 times that amount - I think not.
