I've now been on the Fast Diet for over three months and it is still the best thing. If you've had problems with weight, this might be just what you've been looking for. But - my recommendation is READ THE BOOK FIRST! Two days of light eating per week - that's do-able. It sets everything out so that we understand why we're doing this and learn the system easily. The book has the charts that we need to make up our own recipes - as well as the nine low calorie days of meals (for both men and women) set out for us to get us started. The fast days are easy because they are days of light eating (rather than no eating), and because it's only two days a week, I look forward to those days because I feel better from them. I find them easy because I know the next day I can eat normally again. After three months, my chemistry is balancing, I'm less hungry and feel like I'm daily gaining control back. Best book I've ever read. It reminded me that the way I used to eat 18 months ago is the exact way we should eat. I also bought the Fast 800 Book which is a perfect partner to this way of life. I like to call it a lifestyle as I hate the word diet. This book has helped me to shed 2.8 kilos in 3 weeks which is fantastic as I only had 5 kilos to lose. To put that into perspective, I am a size 8/10, so don't have a lot to lose. Just sick of the bloated pregnant look and now it's gone. Must read book 10/10 xx
