Four decades of typing and keying – one decade on this keyboard – has revealed that whether keying flat-out or lazily cruising with the palms on the table, this keyboard is as good as it gets. It's ergonomically brilliant, low to the table surface and even has two USB ports underneath for running a mouse on one side and quickly swapping in thumb drives on the other side. There's a little luxury here: a slight sponginess at the bottom of the keystroke – not sloppy at all – but just enough to let you know you're working with something special. This is everything good about Apple. Very well constructed, reliable and beautiful to look at too. What more could you want? Mighty Mouse is also excellent. It's only weakness is that the scroll-ball (nor wheel, so it scroll sideways) can get gummed up but solutions abound on the Internet, including a little alcohol and rubbing the ball on paper with the mouse upside down.
