Has easy access to timer and batteries plus the AA batteries are much more inexpensive than the 6 volt kind. Setting the timer for different times and lengths to spread is another great feature. I love the water tight screw on cover/lid also that it the protects batteries and the digital controller. I will never use another spreader on my feeders.

Timer so far works great. Tends to be fragile at the 3 pivot points. To fix and make it stronger after it brakes, remove the screw and metal piece that the screw goes into that molded in the plastic stem. ( If it brakes you'll know where I'm talking about ) Use a longer and bigger course thread wood screw or a dry wall screw to put it back together. Be careful not to tighten to much. It will strip out. This is how I fixed both of mine. I'm trying these smaller feeders to see if the timers are better because the quality of the timers on the larger ones have gone downhill.

It's easy to install and works just like the full size timers. It has all the features packed into one compact kit. I have two installed on homemade feeders and so far they have worked great. Powered by 4 AA batteries make these easier to power since batteries are cheaper and easier to install and carry. No wires, no hassle no problems.

This feeder is quieter than most feeders. This might prove to be an advantage when hunting spooky or jumpy game. Even though it is powered by 4 AA batteries, it does a good job of scattering the feed. The battery life seems to be between 3 to 4 weeks, depending on brand and type of batteries used.

I have used just about every brand and style of feeder on the market. These outlast and out-perform all the others at a much cheaper price. They are low profile so the critters have a hard time knocking them off. And, they run all year on 4 AA lithium batteries.

works good, easy to program and battery's last a long time. I use mine on 2 settings in a 24 hour period. Battery life may be shorter if you use more settings. I bought 1 last year and another this year.

Great product from a very well respected company. Feeder device only, you get your own bucket to hold the feeder grain for deer, elk, wild pigs or turkey. No activated bye motion but rather a electronic timer you select and set. Easy to set up, program and install grain bucket. Keep it simple makes more sense. Unit price under $30.00 with free fast shipping. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to feed the critters and maybe post a trail cam to capture guest at the feeder. PHS in AZ

It was easy to install on my plastic drum and easy to program. For the cost of this product I’ve got a very reliable feeder. I was somewhat concerned that the 4-AA batteries would supply enough power to run the motor but after running it for several weeks I’ve found that’s not an issue - it throws corn in a 10 ft circle. It’s an excellent value, especially if you already have a drum to use.

I like them and the price is right too. They are good on batteries. Good on keeping time. Dispenses Four-times a day they let out corn from 1-20 seconds. The only thing is I have the barrel lower so it is easier to get the corn in the bucket. I used the 30-33 gallon drum and it holds almost 150 pounds of corn. The will release soybeans too. I got two for $$66. Price is Right. The only thing wrong is that you can’t see the face. But that’s why I am mentioning it because the have new models and you can see the clock on the face and not on the bottom.
