I love these La Radio Technique E188CCs. This pair I bought is very sweet and sings nice in my Woo Audio Wa3. I'm using a GEC 6AS7G power tube paired with these. They have the Amperex signature sound but with better dynamics top to bottom. I have Amperex 6922 USN pair as well and I prefer these Holland ones over those. These add a little more thickness and weight to the recordings I have listened too. I really love the song Easy Lover by Philip Bailey/Phil Collins. That song just rocks with these tubes. I think these tubes are going be in more demand farther down the road, get them while you still can. Hope this helps -Jon

I tried the Siemens 1964 grey plate, and this tube is more natural sounding. It doesn't quite have the detail resolution of the Siemens, but the Siemens did seem a little cool sounding. overall, the PQ's are what I will be listening to through the DAC. perhaps the Siemens would be better suited for a phono stage.. The PQ's come through smooth to the bone, the Siemens a letting some of that midrange solid state haze back in.. - update, after changing rectifiers, the haze is gone, and the best tube ended up being the Siemens CCa with CCa printed on the tube!!
