I use a DVD Player everyday.mostly to play audiobooks.so I really get a lot of use of them,,a few features I dislike are it has too many sharp edges on the front and if I walk past it,I often will hook it with my shirt and pull it off the shelf
for the price it is quite a good unit - only one shortcoming :
it will not obey commands from the remote when :
I try to play " self-made " DVDs,,,,,? ?
It plays them o.k. - clear and un-interuped - picture and sound = o.k.
but no " fast-forward " or ' backwards ' or any other function -
either : " Play " or " Stop " - and " re-start " from the beginning only ,
These are the shortcomings I noticed ,-plays good but
I have found that the unit is excellent value for money. I have been using Laser Blu-ray players for some years and have always found them very reliable with good clarity on playing DVD discs and being region free meant that the overseas DVD's we have were now viewable.
I think this VCR was very good cost wise, however for older people like myself something larger
with bigger buttons would be much better, also I wasn't aware that I'd have to buy a HDMI cable
as well as 4 pronged VCR lead, which were $35 additions.
The product was delivered promptly and was packed well.
