Kimberly Coleman is an award-winning writer living in Ireland with her husband and their two dogs. Her first volume of stage plays, 'A Father's Crimes and A Child of Promise', loosely based on stories of relatives from her childhood, was published by Europa Media in the late 1980s. Her short screenplays have won numerous awards through the years, including Best Short Script, 2008 and 2010 Omaha Film Festivals, Best Short Screenplay, 2008 Bare Bones International Film Festival, and Best Short Screenplay, 2011 Champion Screenwriting Competition. Calling on her experience as a Registered Nurse and newspaper journalist, she wrote a short script centering on a soldier with undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder.
