Condition:
In the 1990s, stuff like this would have been (incorrectly) labeled emo, because it's clearly hardcore (or at least from hardcore), but it doesn't play by orthodox rules. "Fear Before Doesn't Listen to People Who Don't Like Them" suspends heavy drums and dreamy vocals within a web of guitars reminiscent of Bad Brains' I AGAINST I, and "Get Your Life Together" layers vocal harmonies and intertwined guitar for beauty amid turbulence.
