These are the best Van Halen albums from the David Lee Roth period. If you like hard rock with good lyrics,great singing and excellent guitar playing, then you'll love these. Stand out albums are their debut album "Van Halen", which is their best from this era and "Fair Warning", on which Eddie Van Halen really lets it rip with his phenomenal guitar playing.
These are the first six studio albums produced with David Lee Roth as the vocalist. They sound great and the first 4 albums sound so good it is hard to work out which one is their first recording.They all have their own magical individual sound to each album. Jamie's cryin', Atomic punk, so this is love, beautiful girls, DOA. The list goes on, I enjoyed women and children first the least but after a few listens it's getting better. The cd's are HD CD;s which mean they are produced with 4 extra "bits" (20 bits rather than the normal 16) and I have found out my cd player is HD compliant so I able to enjoy the feature of the extra bits. Sounds simply amazing. They will play on normal CD players just without the extra bit functionality.
