This is my second SPyderco Dragonfly 2. It is an exceptional "Big Little Knife". Its superior design provides several different gripping options. Being on the small side it is a less "threatening" EDC knife than something larger like a Spyderco Endura, Paramilitary 2, or Military. If nothing else, it is a great back up to be used around polite society. The VG-10 steel takes a razor edge, holds it well, and is fairly easy to resharpen. It's rust and stain resistance are also very good. My only qualm about this model is I see three different shades of orange FRN (Fiberglass Reninforced Nylon) scales in factory pictures and and the one I received is not my favorite. I easily dyed it a nice Cherry Red using RIT Scarlet Red powdered dye. I can recommend the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 without hesitation.Read full review

The size and utility of this little folder is near perfect. Great at slicing and controlled cuts. The thumb ramp and finger choil in combination with the FRN handle is ideal for an EDC. But the blade seemed unfinished in that it had sharp edges where there should be none. The deployment hole has sharp 90° edges can cut one's thumb when opening the knife. The blade spine suffered from the same sharp edges. This was corrected by smoothing the blade's deployment hole and spine with a ceramic rod. Once the procedure was done, the knife was as it should be (☆☆☆☆☆). Would I buy another? Yup! But only because I know how to tame the blade. But for the buyer without such skills look elsewhere.

Spyderco knives at this price range scream themselves as utilitarian tools, it is to that effect that I am giving this beautiful knife a 4 star as oppose to 5. I bought a DF4 and an E4 and now have to spend the money to get Delica4 that sit smack between the 2. I think the D4, though I have not own one yet, is just perfect. The E4 is just too long too big and DF2 is a bit small in term of hold and blade length. Buy a D4 and call it a day or save for AXIS knives for additional fun.

As an avid collector and lover of quality folders, the Dragonfly 2, has taken over number one spot as my EDC. I prefer it over my former number one, Sage 1 because it will do all that I need it to do and even with the clip attached is very comfortable at the bottom of my pocket. I love it.

Vg10 is very sharp steel. Only gave 4 stars bc who ever sharpened this one damaged the back of the blade

Light weight, cuts through less steels like an opera singer rapping. Just kidding, it is very light, has a fantastic edge, the orange I bought looks good and is functional since I'm in grass/brush a lot and want something visible if I drop it.

Great everyday knife. I got the orange color hoping that it will be easier to find when my husband loses it!

This a well designed knife. Just right for an EDC. Orange color and nice clip make it hard to loose and VG 10 blade / Spyderco design is unbeatable.

Spyderco knives are always quality knives. I own another Dragonfly but added this one just because. Light, sharp, holds its edge, perfect size for a pocket knife.
