I decided to buy this book after seeing the author on several talk shows. He's not selling a diet, he's unraveling the myth of weight gain and helping people understand the CAUSE of wanting to put on weight. It's not about being on a diet that you'll ultimately fail at, it's about understanding why we've made ourselves fat - padded from the world. Once you understand this, you can easily, WITHOUT DIETING, let the padding go.
I LOVE this book. On every other weight loss program I ended up thinking about food until I finally gave in. This book is amazing!! I go by food not even being interested in it...even chocolates. I've NEVER had a book do exactly what it promised. The weight just literally falls off. ( only followed his program a little in the beginning and the weight just started coming off. Now I am more committed to eating healthy because I'm beginning to feel so much better and happier with my life. That was an unexpected blessing. I hated exercise and refused to do it in the beginning. The weight STILL came off. That amazed me. Now I exercise because I'm more convinced Jon is on the right track. I now exercise because I actually want to do so. I also eat when I feel like it, except at nights. I now know I will NEVER diet again and I've been on most of them. Litterally one of the best discoverys I have ever made, It is a not so vauge, but rather the opposite look at eat healthy and move more. Now I can actually live my life and eat and act like a normal person and not a mouse, constantly experimenting with differn't eating habits and excersizes. I am more than half way through this book and I have already seen a positive change in my life because of his approach to weight loss.
