I bought this hoping that it would stop the foxtell box complaining when I tried to plug it into my surround sound amp which then sent it to my projector. There is this protection code that is supposed to be passed from it to the amp and the am is supposed to send back a confirmation or something. I had a paid membership and was using the supposedly correct cables that you have to have but nothing worked. Until I plugged this in. Now I stream from my internet to my Foxtell box then to my amp and then out of that to my projector, or TV. It also comes with a power lead to plug it into a USB port, bit of a pain having to power it? BUT I found it works fine without the power. Bonus. The power may be needed if your using longer cables?? But for me I just stick it between 2 cables as a filter and it solves my problem.Read full review

Works as intended, was easy to setup. It splits signal from single hdmi to two displays. But if you are looking to extend the display, this will not work. It gives you a duplicate display only.
