Thoroughly enjoyable - one can relate to Darby and Joan on a human level.
The storyline and characters are very real, engaging and entertaining - the script in particular is captivating with a clever smattering of humour combined with human interest. This, when all set against a spectacular array of North Queensland scenery, provides an imaginative platform which commands attention. Each episode is well-constructed and inexorably draws one to watch the next. Brown and Scachi exhibit professionalism and charm as the central characters, and the supporting actors are equal to the high standards of the overall production. Roll on Season 2!
