S5 Wireless Charging Kit EP-WG900 - Brand New
I have been using the wireless charging kit for a few weeks now, and it seems to be working fine. The charging pad and/or charging cover seem to be a little particular on where the phone is placed upon the charging pad. It seems there is a bit of a "Sweet spot/area", and if you haven't found that spot, the charge may not continue for long - and complete. But if the the phone is placed properly on the charging pad, it has completed the charge every single time for me so far. I did find a protective phone skin (TUDIA LITE TPU - TD-TPU3285) that is designed to fit the S5 with the Samsung charging cover installed (The charging cover does make the S5 a little thicker than before) - and the wireless charging is still working just fine - even through the added thickness of the Tudia protective skin. It was a tad expensive - but it's nice to not have to dig to get that sealed USB/charging port on the S5 open to charge the phone through the that port. Just setting the phone properly on the charging pad is very nice. The charging time is a little slower on the charging pad, than through the USB port. But neither I, nor the phone seem to mind. Works as expected and it's not a dubious mod
This wireless charging back fits my Galaxy S5 perfectly. I use an aftermarket charging pad at home and the OEM pad at work. The original cable for my phone wore out so this kit has given new life to my old phone. It is almost impossible to find OEM wireless charging back covers for the Galaxy S5 now, as the phone is approaching 3 years old (originally released in April of 2014). However, when you buy this item, there are a few things to keep in mind... 1. Use the original OEM charger. This item does not come with the 110AC adapter, so you will need to use the original OEM adapter. This will provide the correct amount of power to the wireless charging adapter, and ensure that there are no compatability issues. 2. Once the phone is done charging, it will stop charging. That is the design of this charger, it doesn't keep the phone at 100% once it is done charging (like leaving it connected to a cord will). So, if you want to leave this on your nightstand to charge overnight, you may be disappointed if you wake up and the phone is not at 100%. Fear not, the device is working perfectly. 3. The phone is a bit heavier with the new back plate, and a bit thicker. Most cases will not work as a result. Keep this in mind. 4. The charging method is not intended to charge the phone as quickly as plugging it in. It is intended to slowly charge, or maintain the battery level. Using Ampere, I measured charging levels between 620mA and 660mA wirelessly, which is different from the 1200mA+ which is expected when plugged in. Overall, if you are looking for a method to avoid overuse of the charging port, and want a way to charge the phone when its on your desk when wires are not convenient, this is for you!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works most of the time
This product does work, however, you put the phone on and the charging light green. But when you check back after some time the light is flashing yellow and there isn't a full charge.
