Apple A1603 Pencil for iPad Pro - (MK0C2AM/A). Was purchased for my partner as a gift without realising her iPad uses a USB C connector not lightning. This is the Apple Pencil for the iPad Pro. It offers more precision and lets you derive more value from your tablet’s multi-touch capabilities. The tool lets you interact with even individual pixels. The Pencil is quite intuitive and extremely responsive, eliminating any minor delay between input and output. With a 12-hour battery life, you can easily charge the Pencil by plugging its top-situated Lightning connector into your iPad Pro.

We have had these for years now. They work well and put up with daily use. A bit more thought could have been put into the first version (lid, charging, carrying) but those things were fixable and are forgotten. Too expensive in my view but I have never got around to trying alternatives to see if that is an option.
Pencil works as advertised, but I would be very careful when charging via your iPad’s lightning port as the slightest bump will crack or snap your pencil off. It is so easy to do.
This pen does what is advertised, but when I purchased it I didn't realise that it does not have palm rejection. It is still way better than using my finger! It is good value for money, but do not buy it thinking that it will be like an Apple pencil - it's a stylus and does not connect with Bluetooth.
