Excellent for use with therapies as well, particularly being such a visual timer. This type of timer was initially recommende to me by an Occupational Therapist for my son who has autism. It is small, very handy to carry around and most effective.

Timer basically worked but seems a little wobbly about whether it will actually start ticking once wound. A little nudge fixes it when it doesn't, but it's kind of a gotcha to look out for. Apart from that, it's affordable and it does the job okay. And the red highlight effect is clever and visually distinctive. I don't know that I'd buy this specific model again but overall I'm not unhappy to have it.

This is a great little kitchen timer. It has a strong magnet on the back to stick on the fridge and a good clear ring. it is also very easy to read from a distance.

alarm rings but not loud enough too early to tell of it is good value. the zero position needs an easy-to-see marker so we can quickly tell which way is up. the 30 minute position (straight down) needs to be flat so the timer won't roll when on a flat surface. useful to see the time left from across the room (shown in red)
