At first I found this focal length to be a bit at odd, not quite 35mm , not quite 28mm (in 35mm terms) so ignored it ; Till I read reviews and actually found a good price I decided to get it When comparing to my Olympus 17mm 1.8 I found it to be sharper at all apertures and a bit more contrasty. Since it's about the same size as the Olympus I decided it'll be my default lens on my Pen F. The 17mm I sold off since I only need 1 lens Actually the focal is not too far off from the 17mm , but the extra 1/3rd stop does help with low light shooting and blur out the bokeh a bit The bokeh isn't bad for such a wide lens The build is top notch and exudes quality I can't make use of the aperture ring (which I find a bit slippery) since I use Olympus cameras but if you have a Lumix, it should help The price is a bit high like all Leicas but you get what you pay for Highly recommendedRead full review
