Good little unit! We are off grid and at 150w is definitely a positive! FYI if you are going to run if from a 12 or 24v bank, It does how ever spike 1minute in to around 550w for a spilt second according to the kilowatt meter. Our 600w @ 12v pure sin wave inverter didn't like it but though a bit larger inverter we have had no problems! We have change to a 24v bank now and are using a 2000w/4000w peak Giandel inverter, Excessive but it will give us more room if we need to run anything with more wattage!

Makes the tubed ice OK but it is fairly wet so it sticks in clumps when you put it in a freezer, which it seems you have to do ,as the machine does not keep the ice frozen in the holding basket. This is a shame. Also bigger than I had expected. Takes up a fair bit of room.

Great portable machine, easy to use functions. Very quick machine to make 14 ice cubes in around 10 minutes. We love using it at parties or as an ice top up in our freezer.

Very good machine. To make a full tray of large ice takes about 2 hours but for a home party BBQ it's great. It's a lot of ice and if using it for drinks once full it keeps up quite well. Looks good and easy maintenance.
