The quality of construction and compactness were better than I expected at this price point. Seems to work very well on headphones with 32 ohm impedance. May be a bit lacking in power for headphones with 150 ohm impedance which is at the upper end of specified suitability.
Well i wanted it yo increase the volume on my mi max2 phone (Spotify) music.
Usesing max gain (high) n max on the volumn knob.. It goes up a bit (im using $50earbuds).
Some noise increases, and sound not as clean.
I read manual is says 320mw power increase.
If i know that id not purchased it.
You really got spend 100_200$ for something that can increase volume (to like the old walkmans sony...) from years ago pre 1990.
Id say 10 or less volumn increases.
Ill give it months to test it out more.
Iv got a sound bar comming, ill be able to test the different lvl with n without.
Works well with music player to speakers or headphones but seems to interfere with digital signal on some stations when connected to my tv, but this was not the main purpose for purchase, great for when I travel, I pack minimal, with small speaker this device really pumps up the volume in my hotel room.
