I was looking for a UHD monitor that was IPS, which this is. Much of the cheaper competition use VA panels, which have their advantages but were not what I wanted, as off-angle viewing is important to me. I have to take a point off, though, because there is some lack of user control. There is no control for colour saturation, and you cannot adjust the intensity of the R, G, and B channels if you are in any HDR emulation mode. I find the colours over-saturated in HDR. Built in sound is decent though not spectacular and I anticipate eventually plugging in a set of speakers into the headphone jack. It would also be nice to be able to override HDR in some situations which this monitor does not allow.
