I bought this Lp first in 1973 Because it looked so different to the so many many mainstream bands at that time(apart from the brilliant Led Zeppelin and Bowie!) Even Alice had not rocked an album like the New York Dolls Great vocals,almost Jagger like,guitars with greats riffs,their sound was unique A new sound that i think generated the about to begin Punk scene Their appearance shocked the mainstream which is why they were never commercially accepted by the candy coated radio stations. They were a great band Thankyou Dolls you rocked for me!
