success with Liquimoly
I followed directions and with a hot engine and approx. 5 sec squirts of the product, moving in and out over the length of the supply tube and over about 30minutes, including a spray and leave it for 5 minutes to soak period, emptied the can through my intake system. The 3.2 Triton definitely feels rejuvenated to drive, much smoother, quieter and more responsive through the gears and reving higher with less complaint. One thing I did not expect was to see zero smoke and discharge from the exhaust. I had the accelerator propped at about 2000 to 2300 revs and watched the exhaust at regular intervals with a white cardboard and an old paint tray under the exhaust to see what it would catch and saw nothing. I took it for a drive on the highway then dropped the oil and the oil poured out like water. Poured 500ml of fresh oil through to flush and the oil was clean. Done about 500km since, my oil is still clean and that is also the benefit of my catchcan working. I had bought the Liquimoly engine flush as well but obviously didn't need to use that in conjunction with the spray as I am sure the galleries have been fully flushed by the spray cracking any sludge that may have accumulated there. When I restarted my engine prior to the drive after the oil change it threw a CEL fault code on my permanent scan gauge, I cleared that and it hasn't come on again. I presume that may have been a result of no air passing the MAF sensor with the turbo hose disconnected during the process. I haven't seen that situation reported in any of the research I did prior to my purchase of the product. So will continue to monitor my oil and engine over this service period and enjoy my result.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

the product actually works
the product actually works and especialy with common rail diesels. it is not snake oil and liqui moly stand by their product as most German companies do.I have a 200 series V8 diesel and i use a can of liqui moly diesel decarb every time i service it. The product decarbonizes the throttle bodies and also keeps the two EGR valves clean and functioning correctly.
