Excellent Book for Anyone, Including Those Who Do Not Need to Lose Weight
I have read a library copy of this book before purchasing it. Although the content is geared towards weight loss, it is equally good for anyone who would appreciate up-to-date nutritional advises, written in plain English. MANY doctors and nutritionists continue to push out-dated and scientifically debunked nutritional principles (e.g. natural fat and eggs are bad for you, and sugar and starch are OK). While it is written by a doctor, this book gives you what has been proven by modern science and statistically validated against a large number of people in controlled trials.
Although the Australian and New Zealand edition is a tad more expensive, the text is a size larger and therefore easier on the eye.
