I loved this movie. It was able to find positives in a potentially depressing, limiting life. He turned a life barely worth living to an enjoyable and even exciting and as near to normal a life as possible. The fact that it was based on a true story and at the end we saw photos of the actual people was to me, proof that it was a basically true story. It certainly lent authenticity. I’ve enjoyed this movie a couple of times and had seen this at the theatre. I bought this DVD because I wanted to share it with a couple of good friends who hadn’t had the opportunity to see it. Everyone has enjoyed it.

it could have been a drama but most of it is real fun and witty actors are excellent and not overplaying. the story could be quite plausible and leaves the viewer ooking forward to see another episode which did not come.
